About us and this Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Wakeapp Games (“Wakeapp Games”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) will use your personal information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy for Games (the “Privacy Policy”).

This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices we follow in our published software applications (the “Game/s”), which may run on mobile devices and other computing devices, and applies to your interaction with the Games and this website (https://wakeappgames.com). Our current Games include Merge Plus and Merge Plus 2:Adventure.

Information we collect from you

Most of the information we collect about you comes from you or your device when you play our Games, interact with third-party ads in our Games, or interact with our ads in apps or websites of others. We may also receive information when you contact us directly by email.

Some data is provided directly by you; other data is collected automatically. We follow data minimization principles: we collect information needed for a stated purpose and do not reuse it for a different, undisclosed purpose.

Information you provide directly

If you contact us by email, we use your data solely to respond to your inquiry. You may also be invited to participate in a voluntary survey or playtest. Other than in these cases, we generally do not collect “traditional” personal information through our Games (such as your name or email address that would directly identify you).

For some Games we may collect a nickname, virtual character name, or an in-app rating. Please do not use your real name.

Information collected automatically

We automatically collect information about your device, identifiers that help us recognize your device, how you play our Games, and how you interact with ads. This may include approximate geolocation and online identifiers that do not name you personally but may uniquely identify your device. We may also receive information from app stores, partners, and other third parties (for example interests or in-app purchase status). We never receive your payment card details.

Examples of information we may collect automatically include:

• a randomly generated unique user ID (“UID”) unique per device;
• IP address and coarse (approximate) location derived from IP address;
• advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or AAID / GAID), where available;
• third-party IDs (for example Firebase / analytics IDs);
• language, locale, timezone, and session start/stop times;
• network status (for example Wi‑Fi), platform, SDK version, and timestamps;
• technical device information (device model, OS name/version, screen size, storage, carrier / ISP, and similar technical settings);
• push notification token (if you allow notifications);
• player identifier from Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center, if you sign in.

We may also collect log and gameplay information about:

• how you play our Games (frequency, session length, in-game events, progress, in-app purchases and their value, aggregated usage and performance data);
• how you interact with ads in our Games (which ads are shown, visibility, impressions, views, and clicks);
• how you interact with our ads in other publishers’ apps (impressions, views, clicks, and installs of our Games).

How we use and share your information

We use and share your information to provide the Games and to run our operations. We may share information with service providers and partners that help us for the purposes below.

Providing you with Games and support

We use information about you / your device to operate, deliver, update, and improve our Games, fix bugs and crashes, and provide customer support.

Recipients may include:

• Cloud and backend providers that host data or messaging services (for example Google Cloud / Firebase). See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Game engine / SDK providers used to build or run parts of our Games (for example Unity, if used in a given title). See the relevant provider’s privacy policy.

Analytics and research

We use information to understand trends in Game usage, gather demographic insights about our user base, and learn where Games were downloaded from. We may create reports for research or business intelligence. Analytics used for these purposes is often aggregated so that neither you nor your device can be identified. We also use information to improve Games and enhance security.

Advertising

We may offer Games for free or at low cost, supported by advertisements. When you play, information from your device may be collected and used by us and advertising partners so that ads can be delivered and measured. Technologies such as SDKs may be used for this purpose.

We may show contextual ads related to the content of the Game or screen you are on. Advertising providers may collect online identifiers that some laws treat as personal information; they should use them for contextual advertising (and only on an anonymized / aggregated basis for other purposes, where required).

In some territories we may also allow interest-based advertising (ads based on habits, interests, app/device usage, and behavior across apps and websites). Where required by law, we will rely on your consent before sharing information for this purpose.

Our advertising partners may include Google AdMob and other networks we engage from time to time. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies. You can also review our app-ads.txt file for authorized advertising sellers.

Device information may also be used for attribution, campaign measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and avoiding ads for Games you already installed. When you see our ads in other apps or websites, those services’ own terms and privacy policies apply.

You can limit interest-based ads through device settings (for example reset / limit ad tracking on iOS or opt out of ads personalization on Android) and by uninstalling our Games.

Cross-promotion of our Games

We may use automatically collected information to promote one of our Games while you are playing another Game of ours.

Game notifications

We may use local notifications and/or push notifications to remind you about in-Game activity. If you enable push notifications, we receive a push token so we can send them. You can turn notifications off in your device settings or in-Game settings (where available). When you unsubscribe, we delete related push tokens from our systems where applicable.

Participation in testing and surveys

We may conduct surveys or playtests to improve Games or support. Participation is voluntary. Where consent is required by local law, we will ask before collecting personal data for a survey. Survey information is typically anonymized and aggregated for analysis.

App stores’ game centers

Some Games may let you connect to Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center (for example for leaderboards or progress sync). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. If you connect, we may receive a player identifier and related account information needed to restore progress. Information you share through game centers (usernames, scores, rankings, achievements) may be visible to other players and the platform.

Security and legal obligations

We use information to enhance the safety and security of our Games, enforce our terms, protect users and operations, and comply with legal requirements. In a reorganization, merger, or sale, we may transfer collected information to a relevant successor.

In-app purchases

Our Games may offer in-app purchases. Payments are processed by the applicable app store through your store account. We do not process card payments ourselves and do not receive your credit card information.

Transfer, security and retention of information

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of collected information and to reduce unauthorized access or misuse. No security measure is perfect or impenetrable.

Retention

We store information as long as needed to provide the Games. We may keep information longer in aggregated or anonymized form that cannot reasonably be linked to you or your device. We delete information when it is no longer needed for the purposes in this Privacy Policy, and in any event generally no later than five (5) years after your interaction with all our Games has ceased, unless a longer period is required by law. If you request deletion, we will handle your request as described in “Your rights” below.

International transfer

We operate globally and may transfer personal data to service providers and partners across borders. Not all territories have the same data protection laws as your own. We take reasonable steps to safeguard personal data in accordance with applicable law.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of digital consent under applicable law. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible. • Right to deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention needs. Cached gameplay info on other players’ offline devices may not update until those devices reconnect.

• Restriction of processing in some cases.

• Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
• Opt-out of interest-based advertising / sale or sharing where required (including under some US state laws). Use device ad settings and contact us to make a request.

We may decline requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate effort, jeopardize others’ privacy, are impractical, or are not required by local law.

Language

The original version of this Privacy Policy is written in English. Any translation is for convenience. If there is a conflict, the English version controls to the extent permitted by local law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to protect users, reflect current practices, or respond to legal and technical changes. We may also change service providers.
